Content standards
These standards apply to every character and piece of media we create and publish, and to anyone who works with us on content.
1. Fictional, AI-generated characters
Every character we operate is fictional and AI-generated. We do not present a character as a real person.
2. Adults only
All characters are depicted as adults, aged 18 or over. We do not create or publish content that depicts, or appears to depict, anyone under 18. A stated age, a prompt or a disclaimer does not override how a character looks: if a character could reasonably be read as a minor, we do not use it. This applies to the main subject and to anyone in the background.
3. Clearly labelled as AI
AI-generated content is clearly disclosed as AI-generated, in the way each platform requires, for example through a caption, bio statement, watermark or accompanying message. We do not use AI-generated media to mislead people about what it is.
4. No real person's likeness without consent
We do not use a real person's face, body, voice or other likeness, and we do not create deepfakes, face-swaps or replicas of real people, unless that person has given documented written consent and we have verified who they are. We do not impersonate real people. If consent is withdrawn, we stop using the likeness and remove the content.
5. Age-verified platforms
We distribute content only on age-verified (18+) platforms that act as merchant of record for fan payments.
6. No off-platform payments
We take no payments from fans off-platform. We do not ask fans for money, gifts or payment details outside the platform, and we do not direct fans to payment links, wallets or other payment channels of our own.
7. Platform rules
We follow the terms, community guidelines and content policies of each platform on which we publish, including their rules on AI-generated media. Where a platform's rules are stricter than these standards, the platform's rules apply.
8. What we never create or publish
- Content involving minors or minor-appearing characters.
- Content that depicts or promotes non-consensual sexual activity or other non-consensual acts.
- Content that uses a real person's likeness without documented written consent.
- Unlawful content, or content that promotes unlawful activity, including fraud or financial scams.
- Content that incites violence or hatred, or that harasses or threatens people.
9. Report a concern
If you believe any of our content breaches these standards, shows you or someone you know without consent, appears to depict a minor, or is not properly labelled as AI, email contact@pixelexmachina.com. Include a link to or description of the content. If you are the person shown, tell us so and how we can verify it.
10. How we handle reports
- We read every report.
- Reports about a minor, non-consensual content or use of a real person's likeness lead to prompt takedown while we review.
- For other concerns, we review the content against these standards and the platform's rules, and remove or correct it where it falls short.
- We tell the reporter what we decided, unless the report was anonymous or the law prevents it.
- Where required by law or platform rules, we report matters to the platform or the authorities.
- We keep records of reports and the actions taken.
